Our mission is to assist those served with the tools to create a better life for themselves. Our vision is to assist those we served in living a productive life.  A Better Life Community Services is now serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  We are committed to providing quality person centered services.

Leadership

                                                                  Dr. Shavon Gilliard is the Director of A Better Life Community Services. Dr. Gilliard has 20 years of experience in social services and education. She is a certified special education teacher in the states of Georgia and Florida.  Dr. Gilliard has been working with the IDD population of Georgia since 2013 where she has been employed in different roles; including Support Coordinator, Developmental Disability Professional, Behavioral Specialist and Director. She has a proven record of providing excellent person centered services to the IDD population.
